About these terms

These terms of service (“Terms”) govern every purchase made on this website (the “Site”), operated by Calmaeditions Limited. By placing an order you agree to them.

What you're buying

Every listing on the Site is a physical paperback book (and, in some cases, a related physical item such as a journal, box set or card deck), printed to order and shipped to you. Please read the title, subtitle and description on each product page carefully before completing your order.

Orders, pricing and payment

Prices are shown on each product page in the currency the title is sold in and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. An order is only confirmed once payment has been successfully processed, after which you receive an order confirmation by email.

Delivery and shipping

Books are printed to order and shipped worldwide with tracking. Once your order is dispatched we email a shipping confirmation with a tracking link. Estimated production and delivery times, customs and duties are set out in our Shipping policy.

Returns, refunds and cancellation

Every purchase is covered by a thirty-day money-back guarantee, as described in our Refund policy. Because items are printed to order, please contact us first at contact@calmaeditions.com before returning anything, so we can confirm the return address and process your refund.

Intellectual property

When you buy a title, you purchase a physical copy for your own personal use. The text, cover artwork and brand remain the intellectual property of Calmaeditions Limited and may not be reproduced or resold.

Nature of our books

Our titles offer general guidance and reflection. They are not medical, psychological, legal or financial advice, and are not a substitute for professional care.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability in connection with any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these Terms limits any statutory right that cannot lawfully be waived.

Governing law and severability

These Terms are governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and, to the extent they apply and cannot lawfully be excluded, the mandatory consumer-protection laws of the country in which you live, without regard to conflict of law provisions. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
