About these terms

These terms of service (“Terms”) govern every purchase made on this website (the “Site”), which is owned and operated by Calmaeditions Limited, Company Registration No. 81041663, with its registered office at Flat 2304, 23/F, Ho King Commercial Centre, 2-16 Fa Yuen Street, Mong Kok, Hong Kong (“Calma Editions”, “we”, “us” or “our”). By placing an order on the Site you agree to these Terms in full. If you do not agree with any part of them, please do not complete a purchase.

Eligibility

By placing an order you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, or that you have the consent of a parent or legal guardian to make the purchase.

What you're buying

Every listing on the Site is a digital ebook supplied as a downloadable PDF file. No physical item is manufactured, packaged or shipped at any point. Because each purchase is digital and delivered automatically, please read the title, subtitle and description on a book's page carefully before completing your order; our refund policy explains what to do if a title turns out not to be right for you.

Currency and pricing

All prices are shown in US dollars (USD), stated clearly on each title's own page next to the price. The price shown on a book's page at the time you complete checkout is the total you pay. Where sales tax or VAT applies, it is included in the displayed price. Prices may be revised, and titles may be added, updated or withdrawn from the catalogue, at any time and without prior notice; a change made after you complete an order never affects that order.

Placing an order

Online payment is not yet open on this Site. When it opens, ordering will work as follows: select “Buy this book” on a title's page and complete payment through our checkout. An order is only confirmed once payment has been successfully processed; you will then land on a confirmation screen showing your book and a download link, which stays valid for as long as you need it — this screen, not an email, is your record of the order. We will update this page as soon as online payment goes live.

Licence to read

When you buy a title, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to download and read that ebook for your own private use. Ownership of the file, and all copyright and other intellectual property rights in it, remain with Calmaeditions Limited or its licensors at all times. You may not resell, rent, sub-license, redistribute, publicly share, upload to a shared drive or platform, or otherwise make the file available to anyone who has not purchased it themselves.

Format, language and restrictions

Titles are supplied in English, as a PDF file formatted for on-screen reading. We do not currently supply alternative languages, printed copies or other file formats. You may print a personal copy for your own use, but you may not reproduce, scan, republish or create derivative works from any title without our prior written consent.

Delivery

Delivery is digital and immediate: your download link is presented on the confirmation screen as soon as payment completes, and stays valid for as long as you need it. See our Help page for what to do if you lose that screen or the link. Because no physical goods are shipped, there is no delivery address to provide and no shipping charge is ever added to an order.

Digital content and your right to cancel

By completing an order you ask us to begin delivering that digital content immediately, and, where the law of your country gives you a separate statutory right to cancel or withdraw from a purchase, you acknowledge that this right ends once the download has started, as is standard for content delivered immediately by download. This never reduces what you're covered by here: our 30-day money-back guarantee, described below and in our refund policy, applies regardless and sits on top of — never in place of — any statutory right that cannot lawfully be limited.

Refunds

Purchases are covered by our 30-day money-back guarantee. The full procedure, including how to request a refund and how long a review typically takes, is set out in our refund policy, which forms part of these Terms.

No professional advice

Our titles offer general guidance and reflection on subjects such as focus, calm and everyday habits. They are not medical, psychological, legal, financial or other professional advice, and are not a substitute for consultation with a qualified professional. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Calmaeditions Limited's liability for any loss arising from your use of a title is limited to the amount you paid for it.

Changes to these terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect a change in our catalogue, our processes, or the law. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised, and the version in force at the time of your order is the one that applies to that order.

Governing law and severability

These Terms are governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of Hong Kong, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.
